This Friday, 5 December, marks International Volunteer Day, a date dedicated to recognising all those who, with their time and generosity, participate in initiatives that make our society more collaborative.

Corporate volunteering is part of the identity of the Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation. It is through everyone’s commitment and participation that we are able to contribute to the building of a more just, supportive and inclusive society. Every gesture, every hour given, and every contribution reflects the power of the collective and generates significant changes for those who benefit from this dedication.

This year, more than 160 volunteers got involved in more 15 initiatives supporting more than 20 social organisations. Each volunteering opportunity helped strengthen the work of partner institutions and showed that when the desire to help translates into action, the benefit multiplies.
