Over 360 meals served in a charitable initiative by the Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation and Serve the City

29 August, 2025

As part of the partnership between the Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation and Serve the City, 65 employees, alumni and family members took part in two Community Dinners for people in vulnerable situations in Lisbon and Porto.

Fuelled by enthusiasm and a spirit of solidarity, we prepared meals, organised the space, and served each guest, sharing moments of genuine connection. We served more than 360 meals, providing a welcoming atmosphere and upholding the dignity of those in greatest need. This reaffirms our commitment to tackling poverty and social exclusion.

These dinners were more than just moments of conviviality: they were an opportunity to strengthen ties, foster inclusion, and demonstrate that together, we can have a more profound impact on people's lives and help build a fairer, more humane society.

Together, we have made a difference, continuing to bring hope and dignity to those in greatest need.

Thank you, Serve The City, for this opportunity!
