The Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation and Stand4Good: A partnership that inspires future lawyers

As part of the partnership between the Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation and Stand4Good, during the 2025/26 academic year, two final-year students from the Faculty of Law at the University of Porto were mentored by VdA lawyers, Pedro Duarte Batista and Luísa Rebelo Cima.

Through the Mentor4Good mentoring programme, developed by Stand4Good, the VdA lawyers regularly supported two young university students, Camila and Diogo, providing them with follow-up meetings throughout the academic year to support their academic progress, assist with their studies and offer opportunities to engage with the job market.

During this journey, the students benefited from enriching experiences, both academically and professionally, as well as access to essential tools for their development. This experience enabled them to broaden their horizons, strengthen their network of contacts and gain access to new opportunities.

This mentoring cycle was just one chapter in these young people’s lives, but it reflects the purpose of this partnership: to invest in the future and create opportunities that transform lives!
