The Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation is delighted to announce its collaboration with Class of Wonders to develop the project PROSPER – Plataforma Gamificada para a Inclusão na Aprendizagem da Matemática (Gamified Platform for Promoting Inclusion in Mathematics Learning).

PROSPER introduces an innovative approach to teaching mathematics in the second cycle of basic education (Year 5 and Year 6), focusing on vulnerable educational contexts. The project will impact over 10,000 students from TEIP (Educational Territories of Priority Intervention) schools across the North, Centre, Lisbon, Alentejo and Algarve regions.

Through gamification, PROSPER makes mathematics teaching more dynamic and accessible, promoting an engaging and inclusive learning experience. It also encourages the development of essential skills such as autonomy, collaboration, and problem-solving, and provides teachers with innovative teaching resources to help them overcome the challenges they face in the school context.

Through this collaboration, the Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation reaffirms its commitment to transformative, inclusive and sustainable education. After all, transforming education means transforming the future.
