As part of the m² Project under the 'Semear na Terra' Programme, the Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation organised a volunteering initiative on 14 May in partnership with SEMEAR.

This year, 50 VdA employees took part, actively contributing to the planting of organic vegetables and the maintenance of the vegetable garden sponsored by the Foundation on SEMEAR’s farmland.

Beyond being a rewarding experience, this initiative represents a meaningful contribution to SEMEAR’s mission: empowering and promoting the social and professional inclusion of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through certified training and participation in organic farming activities.
