28 October, 2025

During October and November, several lawyers from VdA are participating as trainers in sessions of the IPSS Management Training Programme, promoted by ENTRAJUDA with the support of the Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation.

These Training Mornings address key issues for the management of Private Social Solidarity Institutions (IPSS) and other non-profit entities, with the aim of supporting and clarifying the practical application of relevant legislation for the sector.

The October sessions were attended by Bernardo de Sousa Alvim, who addressed practical issues related to Public Procurement, Luísa Rebelo Cima and Sofia Barros Cortez, who analysed the main challenges of Labour Legislation, and Rita Paraíso and Francisco Sousa-Pinto, who focused on Personal Data Protection: Obligations and Risks.

In November, the training cycle continues with new presentations by Rita Rocha and Eduarda Pereira Inácio, who return to the topic of labour legislation, Bernardo de Sousa Alvim, for a second session dedicated to public procurement, and again Rita Paraíso and Francisco Sousa-Pinto, who will further the discussion on personal data protection. The programme closes with a session led by Marina Costa Cabral and Inês Machado Godinho, also focusing on Labour Legislation.

These training courses, aimed at managers and executives of social economy organisations, seek to promote a clear and practical understanding of the applicable legislation, reinforcing the role of legal knowledge as an instrument of positive impact and sustainability for the sector.
