The Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation has once again joined the "A Empresa" program, promoted by Junior Achievement Portugal (JAP).

"A Empresa" is JAP's flagship program through which high school students, over the course of a school year, are challenged to create and run a minicompany with the help of a volunteer and a teacher. The central aim of the program is to promote the entrepreneurial spirit among young people and prepare them for a global economy.

In this edition of the program, VdA was represented by 29 volunteers who impacted more than 1500 students throughout the various phases:

• Mentoring Open Week: Inês Azeredo Caeiro, Marta Lima, Duarte Antunes and João Gil
• Evaluation of Applications: Catarina Pissarra, Patrícia Lousada, Andreia Vidal Tam, Beatriz Ribeiro, Chen Chen, Duarte Antunes, João Gil, Marta Rocha, Miguel Duarte, Patrícia Branco Panta, Paula Guimarães, Pedro Dantas, Sofia Borges dos Santos, Constança Figueiredo Videira, Paula Arantes and João Avides Moreira;
• Intellectual Property Webinar: Bernardo Borges de Almeida and Patrícia Figueira Romão;
• Junior Markets: Rita Marques, Ana Festas Henriques, Ana Sofia Franca, Leonor Vieira de Araújo and Paula Arantes;
• National Competition “A Empresa”: Isabel Gião de Andrade.
