Within the Green Project, an environmental sustainability project promoted by Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation Tapadão is organized every year in VdA’s “Carbon Neutral Area” located in Tapada Nacional de Mafra.

Every year, workers of the Foundation and VdA participate in several forestry activities (such as tree planting or pruning) as well as in the protection of the forest against wildfires (i.e. though its cleaning), financing the planting of 500 pine trees that free up 60 tons of carbon.
