This Wednesday, a session of the Training Mornings will be held as part of the IPSS Management Training Programme, promoted by ENTRAJUDA with the support of the Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation.

The session will be led by Vítor Loureiro e Silva, André Vilaça Ferreira and Nadine Gomes and the theme will be ‘Taxation and Patronage’.

During the session, the following topics will be addressed:

• The framework of the main taxes in the Portuguese tax system;
• Tax benefits applicable to patrons;
• Income tax allocation;
• The VAT regime for donations; and
• The classification of economic activities.

This initiative, aimed at managers and executives of social economy organisations, aims to clarify the legislation governing the activities of Private Social Solidarity Institutions (IPSS) and other non-profit entities, as well as its practical implications.
