On the 13th december, VdA will host a conference on “Business Foundations: Agents of Change”, promoted by the Portuguese Foundations Center and GRACE, with a support of the Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation.

This conference will count with an international participation and intends to combine the business knowledge with the philanthropic approach of any foundation, to fulfill the duty of solidarity and promote and dignify citizenships. Finally to discuss the growing strategic role of corporate foundations in the development of the Portuguese social economy.

Vasco Vieira de Almeida will welcome everyone, and Maria do Céu Ramos, Margarida Couto and José Miguel Júdice will take care of the ceremony opening.

The debate on “challenges and opportunities for Business Foundations” will be moderated by Paula Guimarães with the participation of Gonçalo Matias, Daniel Bessa and Raimundo Pérez-Hernandez.

“Leading by example”, a panel moderated by António Gomes Mota will count with Margarida Couto, Rui Pedroto and Miguel Coutinho.

The last panel will have a debate moderated by Nathalie Ballan with Sophie Faujour, Rafael Chueca Blasco and Paula Guimarães on “How to maximize the social impact?”.
