In the context of the Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation’s partnership with Teach For Portugal, VdA will be hosting the launch event for this project on 17 September.

The launch will take place at VdA’s auditorium between 9:00 and 12:00 a.m., setting the tone for the implementation of the Teach for Portugal programmes in schools during the 2019/2020 academic year.

Teach For Portugal is a non-governmental organisation and partner of Teach For All, whose mission is to ensure that all children have access to equal educational opportunities, regardless of their socio-economic background. Teach For Portugal trains recent graduates and young professionals from different fields in leadership and entrepreneurship, equipping them to implement its classroom-based programmes in the most disadvantaged schools in the country, for a period of two years.
