It is with great enthusiasm that we announce the signing of a Collaboration Protocol between the Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation and OIKOS - Cooperation and Development.

As part of this collaboration, the Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation will contribute to the ‘Challenges of the World - Pedagogical Notebooks’ project, which aims to progressively integrate Development Education into school curricula through the creation of notebooks called ‘Challenges of the World’.

The project aims to reach 1,750 teachers and 43,750 primary school pupils nationwide.

As a Portuguese non-governmental development organisation (NGDO), OIKOS's mission is to eradicate poverty and reduce inequalities so that all people can enjoy the right to a dignified life. OIKOS works with the poorest and most vulnerable communities and regions and is currently represented in nine countries.
