Today, on World Environment Day, we share an update on VdA’s project of support to the Gorongosa National Park!

In the context of the cooperation protocol established between VdA and the Gorongosa National Park in Mozambique, the Firm is backing the “Education of Vulnerable Children” project for a period of 5 years (2018-2022).

We have been equipping several schools located in the Park’s buffer zone, with a view to transforming and improving the study conditions of the children and young people who attend these schools, while also raising awareness about environmental sustainability and the importance of preserving Gorongosa’s biodiversity. Until now we have provided 250 desks made by local artisans and supported more than 3500 students.

This protocol expresses our commitment to environmental sustainability and education as vehicles of social transformation and development (also) in the countries where we are present through the VdA Legal Partners network.
