InclusivaMente Project – First training sessions

22 March, 2019

The InclusivaMente project, promoted by the Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation in partnership with EAPN Portugal – European Anti-Poverty Network, has officially started, with its first training course being held in Bragança, on March 19th and 20th.

The programme was attended by 20 professionals from various social economy entities that provide care to the elderly, dependent persons and/or persons with impairments. The group was very interested and participative, which contributed greatly to the success of the action.

In 2019, the pilot project will take place in another 9 districts of Portugal (including Madeira), with the aim of contributing to the consolidation of more enlightened practices in the provision of care to people with diminished capacity as well as empowering citizens for the exercise of an inclusive and responsible citizenship.

The applications are now open and can be done by completing the registration form (contents available only in Portuguese) and sending it to geral@eapn.pt.
