Teach for Portugal has joined the Teach for All network, thus formalising its partnership and becoming one of its Global Network Partners.

Driven by the mission of ensuring that a child’s potential and future is not limited by its socio-economic context, Teach for Portugal aims to inspire the next generation of leaders to contribute towards sustainable change in the country.

This project is supported by the Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation, in the framework of a Partnership for Impact. It runs leadership and entrepreneurship programmes in schools, recruiting recent graduates and young professionals, from different fields, to implement the programmes in the country’s most disadvantaged schools, for a period of two years.

The training, capacity building and constant assistance provided by Teach for Portugal during these two years help these young leaders offer an education of excellence and establish mentorship relationships with their students, having a transformative impact on these children’s path in life.

The project will start in 2019, with the first programs being implemented in September, in diverse portuguese schools.
