As part of the collaboration between Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation and Teach for Portugal, Isabel Gião de Andrade was a guest speaker on March 12th at a session dedicated to Women's Day with 6th grade students from the Perafita School Group.

Focusing on the theme of gender equality, the lawyer shared her professional career, raising young students' awareness of the challenges and opportunities they may encounter at different stages of their lives, as well as the tools that can help them overcome obstacles. The students also had the opportunity to ask different questions related to gender equality and discrimination, specifically in the labour market.

Since 2018, Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation has supported Teach for Portugal, a non-profit organisation that belongs to the international Teach For All network. Teach for Portugal intervenes in schools in disadvantaged contexts and aims to reduce educational inequality and give children the opportunity to reach their full potential.
