VdA Volunteers pitch in and help out in the Entrepreneurship Programs promoted by JAP!

28 March, 2022

The Fundação Vasco Vieira de Almeida [Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation] joins forces once again with Junior Achievement Portugal ("JAP") to further entrepreneurship programs in schools, targeting elementary to secondary education students.

This year, 10 VdA volunteers have accepted the challenge and are already implementing these programs in schools. They are Carla Ribeiro Lopes, Joana Lobato Heitor, Catarina Milagre, Elisabete Marques Oliveira, Margarida Campelo, Maria Sales Luís, Mélanie Pereira, Raquel Soares, Rita Simão Luís, Sarah Paccetti Correia and Susana Oliveira da Silva.

When the volunteers register in the program, they can choose from any of the six programs available to implement in the classroom (or online) with the help from the teachers: The Family (1st through 4th grades), The Community (1st through 4th grades), Europe and I (5th and 6th grades), It’s My Business (7th, 8th and 9th grades), Economy for Success (7th, 8th and 9th grades), or The Company (10th, 11th and 12th grades).

We congratulate and wish you all good luck!
