18 April, 2022

13 VdA volunteers have accepted the Junior Achievement Portugal (JAP) challenge to review and judge the 240 applications submitted in the program “The Company”!

Ana Diogo, Ana Moutoso, Ana Santos, Carina Amaro, Carina Pintão Barros, Cláudia Sousa, Fátima Bulhosa, Helena Ferreira, Marco Caldeira, Paula Helena Alves, Sofia Bonito, Tiago Dias Figueiredo and Vítor Loureiro e Silva have reviewed the applications submitted by the students and helped select the teams that will go through to the next phase of the program.

“The Company” is JAP’s premier program that helped this organization gain worldwide recognition and challenges secondary education students to create a mini-company throughout the school year, with the help of a volunteer and a teacher.

After creating a product or service, the students develop a business plan, enter the market and see it through. In each phase of the business cycle they develop entrepreneurial skills that are fundamental to their future. More than 6000 applications from teams all over the country where submitted in the program.

We congratulate every student and thank you for your participation!
