Volunteering in Schools | Junior Achievement Portugal

As part of the partnership established between VdA, Fundação Vasco Vieira de Almeida and Junior Achievement Portugal (JAP), 21 VdA team members will, this month, start to promote entrepreneurial programmes in several schools across the country.

The JAP Basic School Programmes aim to contribute to the development of employability skills in students from Years 1 to 9, and each volunteer can choose one of six available programs to implement, with the collaboration of teachers, in the classroom (or online): The Family (Basic school – Years 1 to 4), The Community (Primary school – Years 1 to 4), Europe and Me (Basic school years 5 and 6), It's My Business (Basic school – Years 7 to 9) or Economics for Success (Basic school – Years 7 to 9).

Volunteering team members taking part in this edition of the programme are: Ana Abrunhosa, Andreia Ponces, Bruna Pinto Marques, Carina Amaro, Catarina Milagre, Dulce Fernandes, Eva Dale, Guilherme Oliveira e Costa, Joana Lobato Heitor, Joana Nunes Guilherme, José Fernando Barata, Leonor Melo Ribeiro, Muriel Faden da Silva, Patrícia Lemos Peixoto, Rita Paraíso, Rita Rocha, Rui Diniz Miquelis, Sara Alves Lourenço, Sarah Sá Paccetti Correia, Susana Oliveira da Silva, Sílvia Bessa e Venda.
