InclusivaMente Project: Human Rights in Ageing and Mental Health
As part of the partnership between the Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation and the European Anti-Poverty Network (EAPN Portugal), another session of the InclusivaMente Project: Human Rights in Ageing and Mental Health took place on 17 October at the Cidade das Profissões in Cascais.
The InclusivaMente Project aims to promote the Human Rights of the elderly, those who are dependent, or those with diminished capacity, by providing a training programme for technical teams, caregivers, and beneficiaries on the legal framework of the Adult Accompanied Regime.
This session, led by trainers Paula Guimarães, jurist, and Rosário Zincke dos Reis, lawyer, was very proactively attended by 14 professionals and carers of people with diminished capacity.
This is the sixth year of the implementation of InclusivaMente, a project that has contributed significantly to expressing our commitment to the inclusion of all those who, due to health issues, disabilities, or personal circumstances, are unable or find it difficult to manage their life matters without support.
