Comunidade Vida e Paz

The Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation supports the Vida e Paz Community's Christmas Party by making donations and providing VdA volunteers. For three days, people experiencing homelessness can access services designed to promote dignity and well-being, including medical consultations, showers, haircuts, food and clothing, and assistance with administrative procedures.

The Comunidade Vida e Paz is a Private Institution of Social Solidarity dedicated to supporting people experiencing homelessness and social vulnerability. It is guided by the principles of promoting human dignity and reintegrating these individuals into society. This mission is realised through an integrated approach encompassing prevention, rehabilitation and reintegration, providing new opportunities to those most in need.

Every day, teams of volunteers work on the ground to offer food and psychosocial support, as well as integration programmes that help each person to regain their dignity and rebuild their life.
