Serve the City

Serve the City supports people in situations of greater social vulnerability through various volunteer initiatives, including Community Dinners held in Coimbra, Lisboa, and Porto.

These dinners bring volunteers and people experiencing social vulnerability together through the shared experience of eating a meal. People from different backgrounds and with different life experiences come together, creating a space for fellowship, respect and recognition. Volunteers also help organise and serve the meals, contributing to an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere.

The Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation offers its employees, their families and the alumni community the opportunity to participate in the Community Dinners in Lisbon and Porto each year.

This initiative strengthens the Foundation's commitment to promoting a more caring and inclusive society by encouraging employees to play an active role in fostering social integration, respect, and human dignity.
